our mission

Soul Happy exists to help children build emotional wellness, self-awareness, and resilience through mindfulness, movement, and connection. By showing up consistently with meaningful connection, we ensure that emotional education is never an afterthought or a privilege, it’s a foundational skill offered with care. Soul Happy partners with educators and community organizations to create accessible, safe spaces where kids can understand their emotions, communicate effectively, and feel empowered in who they are. Above all, Soul Happy nurtures a brighter, more connected future by teaching children how to love and trust themselves.

why mindfulness

HANDS HOLDING A HEART ICON.png
every child deserves to feel at home in themselves

Mindfulness isn't about being calm or quiet or perfect. It's about helping kids build a real authentic relationship with who they are. When a child learns to notice what they feel without being overwhelmed by it, they step out of conflict and into a deeper understanding of who they are. That's where they build confidence, and self-trust, which will allow them to navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

RESTING SITTING ICON.png
the body and mind are always in conversation.

Kids carry their emotions in their bodies before they ever find words for them. Tight shoulders. A racing heart. A stomach that won't settle. Mindfulness based movement and breath give children a way to listen to that conversation, pause and respond to it versus react to it. That's a life skill.

HANDS GIVING ICON.png
emotional wellness isn't a privilege. it should be a given.

Where a child grows up or what resources their family has should never determine whether they learn how to manage and move through  big  feelings and life challenges. Soul Happy exists because every kid, in every classroom, in every community, deserves access to tools that help them grow from the inside out.

SOUL HAPPY FILLED IN ICON.png
soul happy is what happens when a child becomes their best, most authentic self.

Not the most obedient. Not the quietest. Their truest, most grounded self. When kids feel safe within themselves, they show up differently. For their families, their communities, and their friendships. Soul Happy isn't a program. It's what growing up whole looks like.

what to expect

Every class we teach is rooted in a science-backed, preventative mental wellness curriculum anchored by five foundational pillars:

  • Connection

  • Breath

  • Movement

  • Integration

  • Relaxation

Heart-centered work backed by real-world data. Through comprehensive pre- and post-surveys, we measure the direct impact of our curriculum—proving that mindfulness and movement create measurable shifts in a child's well-being. This allows us to provide allied organizations and schools with clear, measurable insights into how our curriculum strengthens children's mental wellness and resilience.

Soul Happy creates safe spaces where kids can feel authentic and connected. Grounded in neuroscience and somatic practices, each class blends mindfulness and movement to weave social-emotional learning into a preventative mental wellness curriculum. Through play, collaboration, and experiential learning, children develop a deep understanding of the human experience and their own mind-body connection. Every session is built upon our five foundational pillars: Connection, Breath, Movement, Integration, and Relaxation.
