what we do
your students are ready.
let's give them what they need
Soul Happy partners with schools, nonprofits, and organizations to bring kids yoga, mindfulness, and emotional wellness programming to the kids who need it most.

During our onboarding consultation, we sit down with your administration and mental health staff to map out a scope and sequence. Want to focus heavily on empathy in November? Need a deep focus on test-anxiety management in April?
We tailor our weekly lesson plans—whether mat-based or push-in—to mirror exactly what your school needs most.

where the work happens
in-school supplemental programming
full school year residencies (30+ weeks)
The ultimate pathway for deep, lasting cultural transformation. We embed a Soul Happy instructor into your school community for the entire academic year, providing consistent, progressive weekly or bi-weekly sessions that evolve with your students from fall to spring.
partial school year residencies (8 to 15 weeks)
Ideal for targeting specific semesters, custom district wide implementation across multiple elementary schools, high-stress testing windows, or seasonal transitions. These mid-length series introduce foundational mindfulness habits, somatic awareness, and emotional regulation techniques that students can carry with them for the rest of the year.
exploratory short-term initiative (4 to 8 weeks)
A vibrant, high-impact introduction to yoga and mindfulness. Perfect for brain breaks & daily movement, health wellness blocks, or specialized after-school modules.
classroom "push-in" programming (highly flexible)
We bring the calm right to the students. In this model, a Soul Happy instructor "pushes into" existing classrooms during the school day—whether that's during morning meetings, a specific academic block, or a designated wellness period. Students stay right at their desks or move to the rug for short, high-impact, 20-to-30-minute sessions focused on breathwork, mindful resets, and chair-based somatic movement. It requires zero transition time and zero space manipulation.
custom curriculum & core age tracks
the happy hearts track (pre-k – 2nd grade)
Focus on Play & Body Awareness. Using imagination-fueled storytelling, music, and sensory games, we transform yoga and mindfulness into a joyful playground. Little ones learn to identify their "big feelings" in their bodies and discover the magic of using their breath as an anchor.
the mindful leaders track (3rd – 5th grade)
Focus on Connection & Self-Regulation. As children grow, so do their social worlds. This track combines dynamic physical movement with interactive group challenges, journaling prompts, and co-regulation practices. Students learn tangible tools to process academic pressure, navigate peer conflicts, and step into their empowerment.
the soul alignment track (6th – 12th grade)
Focus on Somatic Release & Identity. A deeply respectful, trauma-informed space designed specifically for the adolescent nervous system. Teens learn the hard science of how stress and anxiety sit in the physical body. We focus on mindful flow, deep restorative relaxation, and practical mental health tools to help them unplug from digital fatigue and navigate identity with self-compassion.

educator & staff wellness workshops
Nurturing the adults who nurture our children. Because you cannot pour from an empty cup.
A calm classroom begins with an emotionally regulated adult. Our wellness workshops provide educators and parents with the psychological and physical tools necessary to prevent burnout, manage occupational stress, and model co-regulation effectively. When the adults in a community thrive, the children naturally rise to meet them. These offerings are designed to help educators release stress, prevent burnout, and reclaim their inner peace.
-
Educator Renewal Sessions: Dedicated wellness workshops hosted during staff meetings or professional development days. Teachers are invited to put down their pens, step away from the lesson plans, and experience restorative yoga, deep relaxation, and supportive community connection.
-
The Mindful Educator Workshop: An in-depth look at the neuroscience of mindfulness. Educators learn how chronic stress affects student learning and brain development, and receive concrete strategies to cultivate an emotionally safe classroom climate.
-
Wellness Retreats & Residencies: Intensive half-day or full-day immersion experiences for staff or organizations focused entirely on nervous system restoration, emotional renewal, and joyful self-care practices.

Bringing calm, focus, and joyful movement directly into the daily school rhythm.
Our supplemental programs integrate seamlessly into the standard school year. We don't just teach poses; we give students tangible ways to understand their emotions, calm their nervous systems, and build authentic connections with their peers. Every Soul Happy instructor collaborates alongside the classroom teacher, facilitating skills that can be modeled and replicated in the classroom community throughout the school year. Whether you are looking for a short-term foundational boost or a deep, year-long cultural shift, we meet your school exactly where it is. We believe that flexibility is key to building a sustainable wellness culture, offering 20-60 minute sessions based on needs. Our programs are designed to adapt to your academic calendar, available resources, and scheduling constraints.
Every school community is beautifully unique. Our mindfulness curriculum can be fully customized to align with your school’s existing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) goals, behavioral frameworks (like PBIS), or specific student demographics.

frequently asked questions
what exactly is mindfulness for kids, and how does it work?
At Soul Happy, we see mindfulness as an essential life skill. By teaching kids to pause and check in with their inner world, it allows them to choose how they want to show up in the outer world. It’s not about sitting perfectly still or clearing the mind (because every mind is beautifully busy!). Instead, we teach kids how to safely explore the connection between their mind, body, and heart through playful movement, sensory awareness, and gentle breathing techniques. It’s a step-by-step map that guides them from high-energy bursts to moments of deep, restorative calm. As adults, we often ask children to “please listen, please focus, or our favorite, please calm down.” Listening, focus and the ability to calm down is a skill that has to be taught and practiced. Mindfulness teaches us how to do all of those things! But just like any skill, we need a safe space to learn and practice our skills.
how does Soul Happy fit into a standard school day?
We wrap around the school day beautifully! Our programming is designed to seamlessly integrate into standard classrooms, physical education blocks, or after-school spaces. We offer everything from quick, chair-based mindfulness breaks that teachers can lead right at their desks to full mat-based movement classes. By setting up predictable, joyful routines, we help schools transform transition times—like returning from recess or gearing up for testing—into smooth, peaceful resets.
what is SEL programming, and why is it built into your sessions?
SEL stands for Social-Emotional Learning, and it is the heart of everything we do. It’s the process where children learn to understand and manage their emotions, feel and show empathy for others, establish positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. We don't just teach physical poses; we thread emotional regulation, self-awareness, and compassionate communication directly into our activities. When kids learn how their physical bodies react to stress and how to use their breath to anchor themselves, they are learning how to actively practice social-emotional intelligence in real-time.
what does the data say about youth mental health right now?
It's no secret that our kids are carrying a heavy load. National data shows that youth stress, anxiety, and feelings of burnout are at an all-time high, often trickling down from the fast-paced, high-stress environments around them. When children are constantly in a "fight-or-flight" state, the brain's learning center essentially goes offline. That’s why proactive mental health tools aren't just an extra addition to their day—they are an absolute necessity for survival and success.
what are the benefits of introducing mindfulness to children early?
Introducing these tools early completely reshapes how a child’s nervous system navigates life. The data is clear: consistent mindfulness and embodied movement practices lead to massive shifts both in the classroom and at home.
how do you support educator well-being?
When educators thrive, students thrive. A classroom's energy is dictated by the nervous system of the adult leading it. Teachers are facing unprecedented levels of burnout, which is why our school partnerships offer dedicated adult wellness workshops. We empower school staff to reclaim their own energy, joy, and purpose with science-backed self-care practices. When an educator learns to breathe through the chaos, they naturally co-regulate and soothe the energy of every single child in their room.
